Freddie Prinze Jr. is Playing Shepard Companion James Vega in "Mass Effect 3"

The fresh Prinze is making the jump to video game voice acting.

Shepard's companions play a huge role in any Mass Effect game, so we're always glad to learn something new about the characters in Mass Effect 3. Especially when one of them—recruit James Vega—is being played by none other than Freddie Prinze Jr.

Check out the video above for just the most adorable interview you've ever seen. "I played both the first one and the second one and used all the henchmen, but I've never gotten to pick myself, so that'll be interesting," Prinze says. "Hopefully you guys give me some good powers so people choose me."

Between this and Miranda's tight, tight pants, our ME 3 party's already set. Are you excited to have Prinze backing you up across millions of light years of treacherous space? Let us know in the comments or on Twitter.
