In case you've been vacationing from all things internet and social media related, let us bring you up to speed: Lana Del Rey has been getting a ton of flack for her performance of "Video Games" and "Blue Jeans" on SNL this past weekend.

Harry Potter a.k.a. Daniel Radcliffe, playing the real-life hero, has graciously defended the burgeoning star to the British press. “It was unfortunate that people seemed to turn on her so quickly,” Radcliffe said.

Radcliffe, who hosted the show on the night Del Rey performed, believes that critics qualms with the singer are unjustified.

If you read what people are saying about her online, it's all about her past and her family and stuff that's nobody else's business," Radcliffe continued. "I don't think [the performance] warranted anywhere near that reaction."

What are your thoughts? Does Lana deserve the degree of backlash and critcism she's received for shaky SNL performance (her first major performance before her first album has even been dropped) or is Radcliffe right to feel the press should just leave Lana alone?
