According to TMZ, there could be a new cast member on Basketball Wives next season in the form of Vanessa Bryant. Since filing for divorce from Kobe Bryant, Vanessa's become a pretty hot commodity for the producers, and they're reportedly preparing to make "an extremely lucrative pitch for Vanessa" to be a recurring character on the series.
As one source told TMZ, "Vanessa has more than enough storyline and would bring the show to another level." Considering her recent break-up from Kobe, the timing is perfect, and apparently producers would have never "dreamed" of approaching her before because "she would not have been receptive."
Should Vanessa accept, producers are prepared to instantly make her a lead on the LA edition of the series.
