It's been known that Atlus has been in development on Persona 5 for quite some time, but their recent statement in Famitsu could mean that development is nearing an end soon.
The prolific game studio has said that “That title you’ve been waiting for may be announced.”
And we know they've been busy, releasing the truly unique and clever puzzler/relationship-sim Catherine, and remaking their other Persona games for the PSP, which are really faithful and solid remakes.
We've heard that Persona 5's development has been speeding up, and this vague announcement-of-an-announcement would be just that if we didn't already know they've been working on it.
Let's just hope they don't fool us all and tell us it's Super Dodge Ball Advance 2.
