As bad as the Transformers movies and tie-in games are, Transformers: Rise of Cybertron was more than decent. We already knew the sequel was coming, but last night at the Spike TV Video Game Awards we finally got a glimpse at the action in Transformers: Fall of Cybertron, not to mention a look at the awesome Dinobots.

The game looks set to take place at the beginning of the end for the Transformers' homeworld, Cybertron, a catastrophe that sets the stage for the entire Transformers mythos. If it's anything like the first Cybertron title, it's almost time for fans to get out their Bumblebee and Optimus Prime costumes and get excited—the game is slated to hit shelves next fall.

Has the Transformers series worn out its welcome with you, or are you just as excited by the thought of a truck changing into a robot and fighting crime as ever? Check out our awards recap for all the VGA winners and let us know what you think in the comments or on Twitter or Facebook.
