The latest patch for the PC version of The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim, which brings the game up to version 1.3.10, has enabled it to take advantage of up to 4GB of some PCs' expanded RAM. Hopefully this will alleviate the framerate issues some players have been experiencing, although those were mostly plaguing PS3 gamers.
Joystiq reports that the same feature was added in the last month by modders, but was subsequently disabled by an official patch. We hope that's because Bethesda had planned all along to add it themselves, and not that they thought of it afterward and didn't want modders to have the credit.
