If someone told you to guess which bird scientists were studying with hopes of improving unmanned aerial drones of the future, you would probably say an eagle or a hawk. And you would wrong. A research team from Harvard has surprisingly been studying the way pigeons fly.
Yes, pigeons—rats with wings, the bottom-feeders of NYC—are being looked at for hints and tips on how to better the future of unmanned aviation.
