A man wearing a Santa Claus hat and construction mask robbed a Point Loma Cabrillo Drug at gunpoint yesterday morning (it was Christmas Eve!). The suspect, described as a white male between the ages of 40 and 50, made off with an undisclosed amount of money and pills.
Sadly, this was the second crime of the same nature in the area in the past two weeks. Back on Dec. 16th, another guy in a Santa hat robbed a bank in Encinitas, saying he needed the money to support a sick child (seen above).
Bundle up, it's about to be a cold winter.
