There are many rumors floating around regarding when Apple will release the next iPad. Some reports have it dropping on February 24, Steve Jobs's birthday. A new report from Digitimes now pegs the the 2011 MacWorld conference as the next-gen iPad's release date

It's a little difficult to believe this rumor as it would be the first time since 2009 that Apple has officially been a part of the annual conference. The last time Apple took the stage at MacWorld it introduced the 17-inch uni-body MacBook Pro, alongside iWork '09 and iLife '09.

However, the report says that not only will Apple present at the '11 MacWorld, but that it will also introduce two iPads: a high-end and a mid-range version. Digitimes says both models with sport updated specs including a faster A6 processor, Retina Display with 1536x2048 resolution, an 8 megapixel camera, and a bigger battery.
