Courtesy of ThinkGeek, a.k.a. Spencer’s for techies, a new t-shirt trades a screenprint for a drum machine, equipped with eight drum pads and nine kits—from retro 808s to zapf dingbeats (whatever the hell that may entail).
For 30 bucks, the tee also packs a recorder so you can layer loops up to three minutes in length and then blast them via mini amp belt clips that actually go to 11, requiring only 4 AA batteries. And because the whole contraption is detachable from the shirt, you’re basically getting two black tees for the price of one.
Suddenly, punching away on Fruity Loops for your smartphone doesn’t seem so cool. Or actually, infinitely more so.
