It's a great day for anybody who feels guilty about leaving their virtual pets at home. Microsoft released an iOS version of their mobile Kinectimals game today. (The Windows Phone 7 version came out in the fall.) It's release is yet another sign of Microsoft's new "if you can't beat 'em, join 'em" attitude towards Apple: Last week they released an official Xbox Live app for iOS after years of exclusivity.
The iOS port, like the Windows Phone 7 version, has Xbox Live achievements and leaderboards. However, unlike the previously released version, the iOS game comes with five new cubs, which will be available on both iOS and Xbox 360.
