Nobody's sure what "distracted" a Miami police officer to the point that he drove his car off the road and up a telephone pole, but to quote former Knicks guard John Starks, "this dude just did this" early this morning. Somehow, the officer manager to get his vehicle caught caught on a guard wire, forming a 45 degree angle and trapping him in the process.
The Miami Fire Department had to rescue him, which probably earned him the crown of laughingstock from both the police and fire departments, but at least nobody was hurt. After everyone's done clowning him, he's gonna have some explainin' and a nice stack of paperwork to do.
