A California judge has ruled that EA has to defend itself in a contract-interference lawsuit brought against them by Activision, who claim the company illegally attempted to lure away Infinity Ward heads Jason West and Vince Zampella while the two were under contract creating Modern Warfare games, CVG reports.

The judge deemed there's enough for the suit to go ahead, so it'll now be added to a multitude of others; West and Zampella sued Activision for alleged unfair termination, Activision counter-sued them for their supposed secret talks with EA, 38 other Infinity Ward employees sued Activion for unpaid royalties, and then everyone sued everyone, in homage to a famous South Park episode, which will inevitably end with a bunch of lawyers getting very, very rich.

Activision decided to bring EA into the fold because—well, probably because they want more money. Isn't this a little bit like Satan suing Cthulu for recruiting his followers? Who really wins in the end? Let us know in the comments or on Facebook or Twitter.
