Dutch television hosts Dennis Storm and Valerio Zeno indulged in cannibalism, the last true taboo, for their show Proefkonijnen (which translates to "Guinea Pigs").
The hosts each had a surgeon remove a small piece of their flesh, Storm from his butt cheek and Zeno from his stomach. The human meat was then prepared by a chef, who sauteed the flesh in sunflower oil and cooked it to medium rare, with no spices. “We didn’t add any salt or pepper because we wanted to know what it tasted like," Storm said.
The two then stared at eachother from across a long, elaborately set table, and proceeded to eat one another's flesh in front of a studio audience. But according to Storm, his co-host was rather unimpressive tasting, although he did admit it was "weird to look into the eyes of a friend when you are chewing on his belly.”
Yes, they resorted to measures ordinarily reserved for demonic rituals, survival situations and Anthony Hopkin's Chianti and fava bean dinners, for sheer entertainment value. Come to think of it, the Kardashians could learn a thing or two about impressive publicity stunts from this Dutch duo. Why concoct fake marriages when you can just cut a small sliver off Kim's backside for the snacking? I mean, it's not like she'd notice it went missing.
