There’s nothing worse than being seated on a plane next to smelly, old people, crying babies, or hyperactive kids always kicking your chair or playing with your TV. After all, that’s why you end up spending $8 on mini-bar-sized drinks non-stop. Amsterdam-based airline KLM is finally providing a solution to these hellish circumstances by allowing customers to pick their seatmates via Facebook or LinkedIn.

The airline denies encouraging Mile High Club hookups, also arguing that sometimes, business class passengers may want to avoid sitting next to other businessmen in order to get away from professional stresses. Right.

More reason to go to Amsterdam!
