At their price points, the Kindle family of tablets was bound to do big numbers over the holidays. Amazon has now confirmed the final sales figures over the festive period to be 4 million units sold across all models, with the Fire predictably selling the most.

Among Amazon’s full offerings, the DROID RAZR was the most-purchased smartphone, Just Dance was the best selling video game and Steve Jobs and The Hunger Games tops among print books and e-books, respectively. In fact, according to the retailer, customers purchased enough copies of Jobs to create a stack taller than Mt. Everest, a fact that should push production of the movie adaption into overdrive.

The little guys did pretty well, too: the number of Amazon’s third-party sellers who grossed more than $5,000 increased 44% from last year over the same period.
