Boasting on his Twitter account, Google's Android chief Andy Rubin confirmed today that the ecosystem welcomed a ton of new Android devices this Christmas. Just how many? 3.7 million new phones and tablets were activated on either Christmas eve or Christmas day alone.
That's impressive even given the spike in Android users we've seen this year. Prior to the holiday, Android activations had reached 700,000 per day.
