Nintendo's got a great offer going for Kid Icarus fans, and even those who never played the original NES title because they aren't a million years old can take advantage. We kid! You're not that old. Relax. By registering two eligible games, you can get the game for free starting on January 5. It's receiving a nice graphical update (not quite SNES-grade, but way more attractive than the original visuals) and a 3D steroids shot in its cherubic ass, so it's worth checking out either way.

All you have to do is join Club Nintendo (which is free) and register two of the following games by the end of January: Resident Evil: Revelations and Mercenaries 3D, Mario Kart 7, Super Pokemon Rumble, Super Mario 3D Land, Tetris, Star Fox 64 3D, Ocarina of Time 3D, Dead or Alive Dimensions, Steel Diver, Nintendogs + Cats, Pilotwings Resort, and Super Street Fighter IV 3D. That really shouldn't be too difficult—if you have a 3DS without at least two of those games, you're doing it wrong.

Edit: We've been informed this deal is currently announced only for UK residents. Here's hoping it shows up in other countries as well—as always, we'll keep you posted.
