Oscar Ramiro Ortega-Hernandez, the man who allegedly shot at the white house last week, has been charged with attempting to assassinate President Obama or his staff.
According to DCist, Ortega-Hernandez told investigators that he "hates" the President, Washington and society overall. His mental health has also been questioned, as the mother of his former fiancee told the Associated Press that Ortega-Hernandez fancies himself Jesus Christ, and believed that "the world was going to end."
