Going on a year since the release of the first Xoom, Motorola is finally ready to roll out the successor to the Honeycomb-based tablet, at least in the UK.
The Xoom 2 boasts a minor improvement in processor speed—up to a dual-core 1.2 GHz—but the biggest difference comes in the brighter, 10.1-inch Gorilla Glass display. A smaller “Media” edition is equipped with an 8.2-inch display that has a wider viewing angle to allow for more eyes on the screen.
The models have been confirmed for release in the UK, though pricing and availability is unknown for the States.
