Rocky, our favorite punch-drunk boxer, will be returning to the ring in rare form, and we don't mean prime meat-carcass-pummelling shape.

Sylvester Stallone, who has been carrying the franchise since its debut in 1976, had decided to take the sixth installment of Rocky to an enirely new medium, forgoing the box office for Broadway. Inspired by the Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark's blockbuster-turned-musical model, Stallone has teamed up with Ukrainian boxers Wladimir and Vitali Klitschko to make Rocky and Adrian's story fit for the German stage, where it will debut in November 2012.

We can't decide if this idea is genius or ludicrous. It really all depends on how "The Eye of the Tiger" number goes down.
