This Saturday brings one of those bizarre events you moved to New York to attend. At 1 p.m., a screening of Jean-Michael Basquiat: The Radiant Child will be held in Green-Wood Cemetary in Brooklyn, the place where Basquiat, who died in 1988, is buried.

The documentary charts the rise and fall of the famous street artist turned gallery darling. You may have heard Jay and Kanye discuss his importance on the album Watch the Throne.

Tickets are $35 and include the screening, wine and cheese; a Q&A with Suzanne Mallouk, artist, psychiatrist, and Basquiat’s former girlfriend, and Michael Harmon, co-founder of Basquiat’s 1980s industrial noise band, Gray; and a visit to Basquiat’s grave.
