Back in June news broke that Apple's VP of Retail, Ron Johnson, was leaving the company to take a gig with J.C. Penny. Cult of Mac is reporting that Apple has finally found a replacement in Steve Cano, a former Apple Store manager who joined the company 10 years ago when he became the manager of the Palo Alto, Calif. flagship location. Since 2001 Cano has managed stores in NYC and Tokyo and made his way up the corporate ladder to Sr. Director of International Retail. It's dope to see companies promoting from within to fill big positions.
