Mobile phone contract haters rejoice! The iPhone 4S is now officially available unlocked and contract free from Apple.
To order an unlocked iPhone all you have to do is head to the online Apple Store and choose the unlocked and contract free option when selecting your phone.
Of course, getting a phone unlocked means paying the full, unsubsidized MSRP, and the iPhone 4S ain't cheap. The 16GB model goes for $649, the 32GB for $749 and the 64GB for $849.
