Reiterating their intention to keep their PC business going, HP has updated their TouchSmart all-in-one desktop series with the 620, the manufacturer’s first 3D iteration. Combining tablet functionality with 3D capabilities, the 23-inch display will also come equipped with a webcam that can capture stills and video in 3D, as well accompanying shutter glasses. Other specs for the full set include a Core i5 processor, 1.5TB HDD, and 8GB of RAM. Dropping November 15, it’s set to retail for $1,600.
For those unwilling to fully commit to HP product, the company will also be rolling out a 3D monitor, the 2311gt, in December for around $299. The 23-inch, 1080p model will rely on Film Patterned Retarder (FPR) technology, which creates 3D imaging by aligning alternating rows of pixels with the right of left eye.
