It has been a rough road for Techland’s Dead Island. While the game has received a variety of critical acclaim, technical glitches and bugs have really hampered the game since its launch. Techland pledged to get them all sorted out as soon as possible and delayed the previously announced DLC, entitled the Blood Bath arena, until they could get the game up and running without issue. That day appears to have come.
Techland is now saying that the Blood Bath DLC will launch simultaneously on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC on November 22, 2012. The new mode gives players horde style arenas across 4 different settings to experience with their friends. Any XP that is earned in the arenas will be carried over the the campaign of the main game as well.
We needed a reason to go back and hack off some zombie limbs.
