The dysfunctional college students that make up the eccentric cast of Community will not be returning for the winter semester.

NBC's has left Community off its mid-season schedule (which includes a new project from Chelsea Handler and also excludes Prime Suspect) and has put 30 Rock in the Thursday night slot Community once occupied.

According to sources from The Hollywood Reporter, NBC does not have plans to cancel the show, they have just yet to determine its return date. Still, we can't help but feel like this is "a break" that will inevitably turn into a break-up. And, with a cast that includes Joel McHaleAlison Brie, Donald Glover and Chevy Chase, we would be left broken-hearted if NBC pulled the underated show off its ranks permanently.

We're not the only ones upset. Executive producer Neil Goldman took to his Twitter to express his disappointment, tweeting "Midseason schedule burn!" and was followed by Joel McHale who added, "Horsebot 3000 Noooo!"

"Noooo!", indeed.
