Popular comedian and television fixture Patrice O'Neal has passed away at the age of 41 due to complications from a stroke and diabetes, according to The Huffington Post. O'Neal first suffered the stroke back in October, but only a few details were released afterwards.
This morning, popular talk show host Opie, from the Opie & Anthony Radio Show, tweeted, "Yes, it's true that our pal Patrice O'Neal has passed away. The funniest and best thinker I've ever known PERIOD." O'Neal was a regular guest and occasional co-host on the Sirius Radio show.
Aside from being a staple in the New York comedy scene, O'Neal also had a recurring role on The Office as Lonny, one of the warehouse workers, and a brief, but memorable, part as T-Bone on Arrested Development. Most recently, O'Neal was part of the Roast of Charlie Sheen on Comedy Central.
