USA Today is reporting that Nintendo has managed to move more than 500,00 units of their biggest recent releases since they launched earlier this month. While Super Mario 3D Land has moved 500,00 copies, Skyward Sword has moved 535,000 copies.

Perhaps the strength of these titles will continue through the Holiday Season and help keep Nintendo afloat during their respective consoles have been slipping in the past couple of months. According to a statement from Nintendo’s Reggie Fils-Aime, Skyward Sword is officially the fastest selling Zelda game of all time, so perhaps that is a sign of good things to come as well.
