Tow Truck Drives Off with Drunk Driver's Children

How does this happen?

Here’s a clear sign that you’re drinking too much.

Fredly Misere was discovered by a tow truck sleeping behind the wheel of his Benz SUV with a beer bottle in his lap while stopped in the fast lane of I-95 South in Pawtucket, Rhode Island. Naturally, police were called to the scene and Misere was arrested. Loaded, he told police he was worried about his kids. When he was asked about their whereabouts, he said they were in Boston. Apparently everyone at the scene of the crime failed to notice that his two small children were still in the vehicle.

By the time the police arrived, the truck had already been loaded on to the flatbed, so nobody noticed the 4-year-old and 3-month-old in the backseat. The driver of the tow truck didn’t realize until he got back to the impound lot and heard crying coming from the rear of the vehicle. It must’ve been those damned tinted windows.

When it was all said and done, Misere was charged with drunk driving (his second offense), driving with a suspended license, child endangerment and failure to use care when stopping. Good luck to this man in court.
