Samsung Galaxy S II

CPU: 1.2GHz dual-core Exynos processor

RAM: 1GB

Display: 4.3-inch Super AMOLED Plus display, 800x480 resolution

Memory: 32GB

Camera: 8 megapixel, 1080p video recording

We're not sure why Samsung chose to release the Galaxy S II, the follow-up to the best selling Galaxy S series, overseas before bringing it to America. Nor do we care. Now on Sprint under the Epic 4G Touch moniker and on its way to T-Mobile and AT&T, the Galaxy S II is an amazing phone. Thin, made from quality materials, fast as heck (thanks to its 1.2GHz dual-core processor and 1GB of RAM), with 32GB of built-in storage, it's worth every penny of its $200 price tag. Not on Sprint? Wait for it to hit your network. Well, unless you're Verizon.

The Photon 4G looks unlike any other smartphone for sale today. Which, if you look around the current smartphone market, is a remarkable feat. Motorola's first high-end offering on the Sprint network in quite sometime comes packed to the gills with the top-of-the-line tech bits: dual-core Tegra 2 processor, a gig of RAM, and a vivid display.

HTC Amaze

CPU: 1.5GHz Snapdragon S3 dual-core processor

RAM: 1 GB

Display: 4.3-inch qHD Super LCD display, 960x540 resolution

Memory: 16GB–32GB

Camera: 8 megapixel, 1080p video recording

Packing the same industry-leading camera as the myTouch 4G Slide, the HTC Amaze tops it with an incredibly fast processor, and a crystla clear display. It's a bit bulky and more expensive ($260 w/ two-year contract) than every other phone on this list, but if you're on T-Mobile and you need a powerhouse, this is the phone to get.
