After having already been moved once shortly before his retirement, the pending, official Steve Jobs biography has been pushed up again in light of his untimely passing. Formerly scheduled to be released on November 21 during the holiday season, Steve Jobs by Walter Isaacson will now be available in just three weeks on October 24.

As awkward as the date switch may seem, we have to say we can't wait to read this thing. Isaacson reportedly interviewed Jobs 40 times over two years in order to write it, and got participation from "hundreds" of family members and friends.

Jobs never participated in any of the other books written about him, and he even sued some of the authors.

Since his death yesterday, the book has skyrocketed to the top of Amazon's bestseller list.
