When Ryan Leslie lost his Macbook laptop in Germany last year, he promised a reward of $1 million to whoever found and returned it to him. Luckily for Leslie, the laptop wasn't lost to the black market forever - 52-year-old Armin Augstein found the laptop about a month later in a Germany park, and returned it to Leslie. Yes, good people still do exist in the world!
Though it sounds like this story had a happy ending, fast-forward to nearly a year later. Now, Augstein is suing Leslie, claiming that Leslie has not paid him the promised reward though he's tried to contact the rapper on numerous occasions about collecting it. Augstein is seeking $1 million plus interest, according to the suit.
Damn. If this is true, all we really gotta say is, not cool.
