Nintendo, what are we doing to do with you?
The success of the 3DS as a platform is already in question and the public has been ridiculing you nonstop since the announcement of the slide-pad add on coming in December. Some of us feel bad for you at the amount of hate coming your way regarding the 3D handheld but we just cannot feel sorry for someone who refuses to help their selves.
Nintendo has revealed a new accessory for the Nintendo 3DS in Japan to coincide with the release of Mario Kart 7 next month. There shouldn’t be any doubt in anyone’s mind that this thing will be launching in other regions as well. Say hello to the Martio Kart steering wheel attachment and no, we are not kidding.
Nintendo expects gamers to strap their 3DS systems into this thing in order to replicate the felling of actually using a steering wheel. We thought that this system was supposed to be conveniently portable? By the time that we carry along all of the additional accessories that Nintendo wants you to attach to it you are going to need an officially cargo van to make it mobile. We bet Nintendo is already in talks with Chevy and Ford as we speak.
