Newsflash to all of the “good tippers” out there: there’s a movement going on among restaurant workers in San Francisco to make 25% gratuity the standard on high-end dining bills. Yup, your high tip won’t be so special anymore.
We respect the hustle of everyone in the service industry, so we would never short or harass a server. There was a time when 15% pre-tax was considered a good tip, but a mandatory 25% post-tax? We'll think about it.
