The biggest and oldest gaming award ceremony in the world has bestowed its ultimate honor upon Valve’s Portal 2. The Golden Joystick Awards have crowned the puzzle driven FPS the Ultimate Game for 2011.
Portal 2 beat out quite a bit of stiff competition to earn this year’s award. Other games in contention for the title included LA Noire, Black Ops, and Gran Turismo 5. Congrats to Valve and the rest of the team who made Portal 2 the awesome game that it is.
