Facebook, the world's largest social network, is reportedly planning to build a massive server farm in a Swedish town near the Arctic Circle, according to a Swedish newspaper.

The Norrbottens Kuriren newspaper is reporting that Facebook is in the early stages of building a large five-acre data center in the Swedish town of Luleå which is 60 miles from the Arctic Circle. According to the report, Facebook is looking to use the extremely low temperatures, which dip below freezing in the winter and don't rise above 80 F in the summer, to help keep the numerous servers cool.

The center will take nearly three years to build and will cost around $760 million.
