The latest trailer for Final Fantasy XIII-2 will leaves fans squealing with glee at its seven minutes of sparkly goodness. The game takes place three years after the events in Final Fantasy XIII and the protagonist, Lightning, has disappeared into a mysterious world. Lightning's sister, Serah, and her friend Noel seek to find her. The Active Time Battle system and Paradigm Shift combat mechanics are back, but tweaks are promised to address issues found in the previous game. The trailer also shows off quick time events called "Cinematic Action", which frankly makes us dizzy. Final Fantasy XIII-2 is set for release in North America on January 31.
