Danny Glover is no stranger to activism, and he made a pretty epic visit to Occupy L.A. over the weekend.
Glover commanded the eager crowd to “stand up as our brothers and sisters have stood up,” while referencing situations in Haiti, Tiananmen Square and Egypt. Lastly, Glover challenged demonstrators to be “24/7 warriors” as opposed to “weekend warriors.”
Anyone hoping for a Lethal Weapon reunion at Occupy L.A. is probably setting themselves up for disappointment. Even though he could use the good press, we’re pretty sure Mel Gibson doesn’t care. We’re also pretty sure people wouldn’t buy it. We wouldn’t.
