We're not going to lie, back in the day we watched The Princess Bride about 100 times. Actually, that's probably a conservative estimate, we're low balling so we don't seem as nerdy as we actually are.
Aside from the word "princess" in the title, this childhood favorite managaged to include every badass element could ever want in a movie: in the words of the narrating Grandfather (Peter Falk), "fencing, fighting, torture, revenge, giants, monsters, chases, escapes, true love, miracles."
So, you can understand out excitement when we learned the entire cast (well, minus Fred Savage and Mandy Patinkin, but whatevs, we'll live) reunited yesterday on Good Morning America. It almost brought nostalgia-induced tears to our eyes.
Enjoy watching the cast—Cary Elwes, Robin Wright, Billy Crystal, Wallace Shawn, Carol Kane, and Chris Sarandon— trade the quotes Princess Bride fanatics routinely bark at them, and reviving that old T.P.B. chemistry.
It's like 1987 all over again, but with Robin Wright looking all milf-like instead of all jail-bait like.
