Gamers have been waiting for a decent Aliens-themed game for many, many years. We may finally get the game that we have been waiting for in 2012 thanks to Gearbox Software’s Aliens: Colonial Marines. We might be getting more than just the game too, it could be the true sequel to the fil(s) that we have been praying for as well.
Gearbox Software and Sega have released the first public footage of actual gameplay for the game which has been showed at various trade shows throughout 2011. This footage represents the playable demo that has been on display since the game was formally announced, or re-announced, at E3. The game looks pretty badass, focusing on squad-based gameplay and a very realistic (in Aliens universe terms) representation of the source material.
