Actor Rhys Ifan Unveils "The Lizard" Voice From "The Amazing Spider-Man"

Creepy.

After a plethora of shots, on-set videos, and all sorts of appearances this past summer during filming, things have been relatively quiet when it comes to the 2012 release of The Amazing Spider-Man. Rhys Ifans, who is playing the role of Dr. Curt Connors/The Lizard, had a little face time with MTV News and talked about the filming of the anticipated webslinger reboot. The Anonymous star had a little fun with them by giving a sampling of the voice he's using for the film.

While this won't give Andy Serkis a run for his money, obviously things will be tweaked and enhanced for the actual theatrical presentation. The Welsh bad boy said he sported a motion capture suit for the shoot which will allow his movements and facial expressions to be used in the film. Although it's totally his voice, we think the animalistic voice sounds like Jekyll and Hyde, but we can only imagine what happens when Connors turns into the hulking, snarling, toothy, sub-human killing machine.

So far, so good! What do you all think about Rhys Ifans' voice? Let us know in the comments section below.
