2K Games latest trailer for the Darkness II should bring everyone up to date for the new game, detailing the dark path that Jackie Estacado has traveled along with his dark passenger, known only as the Darkness. Beginning 2 years following the events of the first game, the Darkness II puts players back into the shoes of Estacado, though he is now the Don of the Franchetti crime family. A series of events will soon spawn and all-out mob war and will force Jackie to unleash the Darkness one more time.

Don’t get too excited as it is still a little while before any of us will be playing the game. The Darkness II is currently slated for release on February 7, 2011 on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC.
