This week photos of the latest incarnation of the Easy-Bake Oven hit the web. The children's toy that some of us learned to cook on (and never progressed past) has been around since the early '60s. As you can imagine, it's undergone a number of changes.
When the toy first debuted, it cooked using an incandescent light bulb. Yes, you're reading that correctly. Later models used an actual heat source.
In 2002, a version for boys was introduced; they called it Queasy Bake Cookerator. Because gender stereotyping is important.
