Say what you want about Capcom, but they just might “get it”?

Capcom has made some really “shitty” decisions in the past year. Canceling the Mega Man Legends 3 project, abandoning Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 DLC in exchange for another full retail release, and some questionable save-file systems in their 3DS games are just a few. According to a recent interview with Street Fighter X Tekken producer Yoshinori Ono, they might not be as greedy as they seem.

Ono-san recently stated that the PlayStation 3 and Vita versions of the game will be able to “share” DLC for Street Fighter X Tekken. This means that should additional characters or content be released, which is planned , you only have to buy it once in order to use it on both systems. As long as you use the same PSN account on both systems, the content will work on either version of the game.

Ono’s exact quote was as follows:

“Yes, they're different hardware, but they're part of the same PlayStation family, so to speak, so we're already talking with Sony about ways to sync things together. As long as you're using the same PSN account, things you've purchased on the Vita version will work on PS3 and vice versa.”

Finally, there is a glimmer of hope in the world that Capcom may actually “get it” and might not be the “bad guy company” they have become known as over the past couple of months.
