This natural-disaster like image is the Manhattan sinkhole that ruined the morning commute of more than a few New Yorkers. Although this appears to be the work of a Transformer or giant monster, it’s the result of a 95 year-old water main that burst onto 106th Street, basically turning it into a river. This river moved all the way down Central Park West, flooding several subway stations and ultimately leading to the A, B, C and D trains all being shutdown once the electricity was shut off.
