It appears that Nintendo is appealing to people of the feminine persuasion with their latest color choice for the 3DS. The “Misty Pink” version of the 3DS will be released in Japan on October 20. There is no release date information for U.S. at this time, which is very disappointing to us our sisters. *Manly Cough*
Nintendo also revealed that a 3DS system update in November will enable the device to capture stereoscopic 3D video. The 3DS can already take 3D pictures, but we can see the video functionality inspiring throngs of new fail videos as people throw things at the camera to enhance the 3D experience.
