This newscast on KIDK Channel 3, Idaho’s local CBS affiliate, was taken over by rogue graphics. As newscasters launched into a story, weather information infiltrated the screen in a Matrix-like fashion. The newscasters did their best to adjust, but couldn’t contain their laughter as they detailed a nine-vehicle accident, the rear-ending of a Jeep by a Toyota that left two hospitalized and a twenty year-old old Bonnevile County High School student whose head went through a windshield after he was hit by a car (hilarious, right?!).
Throughout the disaster, the newscasters apologized for their laughter and assured that these were serious matters, but it seemed like they were attempting to convince or remind themselves more than anything else. It didn’t work.
