Though we've seen a decline in the number of think pieces written about chillwave, we have not seen the same decline in the production of chillwave music. Washed Out's last album impressed, and now we have Neon Indian's latest as a rebuke to the tsk-tsking that accompanied all the talk of what was, admittedly, a shittily named movement.

Neon Indian's Era Extraña dropped earlier this month, and now he'll be touring to support that album of melancholy synth smashes.
