A while back, an anonymous buyer put in a bid to purchase the now-infamous Kim Kardashian sex tape from Vivid Entertainment, the company that currently owns the rights. While most suspected it was Kim herself, considering she'd just gotten married to Kris Humphries and a sex tape floating around of her and another dude is kinda weird, turns out it's not her, so the deal is off.

In a statement to TMZ, head of Vivid Steve Hirsch explained, "We were offered $20 million for the Kim tape but have decided that we are going to hang on to it...for now."

He went on to say that when they discovered the buyer was not Kim, the deal seemed less appealing and, "Kim is a superstar and if it were to be sold, it should be to her."
